Stormy weather but better day

After a tough day yesterday, I was looking forward to a better day.
I remembered what Dave told me. Light on the peddles and no mashing.
I tried to pedal today and not hear the sound of my fishing line. I had a decent bike. Someone else gave me some cream for my ass and we cut a hole in the side of my bike shoes, so my swollen feet could expand.
I came off the bike and ran a couple of fast laps with different people in the race. I ate some pizza, ran another, had a massage, ran another.
Great day overall. Had to wear Ryans Canadian shoes because they were bigger than mine.

Thanks everyone for all the comments, it's like letters from home... I really look forward to reading them.

  8. Hey, having a great time in BC. Glad to hear things are better than yesterday. Still think you are crazy but glad you had a good day. Stay safe and healthy. I have been checking in every day. I hope when you have done this you will realize this is the ultimate challenge and start to take things easy and enjoy life (before you die).

  9. Your life is currently reduced to some pretty fundamental basics. Whether I think you're nuts or not is irrelavent, I stand in awe of your determination. You really can do anything you put your mind to. Sounds like you're dealing with some physical challenges but remember that you will win or lose in the MIND! Stay focused and smart...do the next right thing to reach the GOAL. May the wind be at your back for the next 5 days!!! I am joining "DOG" in prayers....
