It's been a long day of finishing things that should have been done earlier. Today, I cleaned up brush on a rental, finished replacing a drain at my tenants house only to discover that when you flushed the toilet water came up through the shower. Quick call to the sewer guy. Got lucky and he came right away.
Buy travel insurance, buy Euro's at the bank, finish up a real estate deal.
Go to doctor and get blood test results to take to the race. Go fill a prescription.
Reseed grass at my daughters house.
Pay upcoming bills on-line
Get Matt to take my bike apart and put it in the bike case.
Buy battery for my heart rate strap. Borrow race belt from Karen. Download new music on my swim goggles.
Pack my luggage 1 hour before leaving to the airport. (items that didn't make the cut due to weight restrictions) Camp cot to sleep on, sleeping bag, extra underwear, vacation attire for after race. I have a feeling I will be using my VISA on a regular basis.
My wife reminded me before I left, that everything is self inflicted
I'm now sitting in the airport, I rushed all day to get here on time only to find out that my flight that was suppose to depart at 11:25 is now delayed to 1:45. So now I sit and wait, how ironic.
